W|W believes in investing in children and schools so kids can be healthy and dream big!

Water4Schools provides safe water, bathroom access, handwashing, and sanitation education for schools and children all over the world while connecting U.S. students to the global water crisis.

Water4Schools U.S.

Kids are curious and passionate. We partner with teachers in the U.S., from elementary schools to collegiate classrooms, to empower students with knowledge about the power of water and how they can make a difference.

Water4Schools International

Worldwide, students attend schools without access to clean water, bathroom facilities, and other necessities that make it hard to learn and thrive. W|W implements handwashing stations, bathrooms, filters, and sanitation education to keep students healthy so they can focus on learning.

WATER4SCHOOLS U.S.

Water4Schools U.S. connects American students to the international water crisis through interactive education and Filter Builds® that directly impact schools worldwide. Students can learn about how classrooms just like theirs access water in different parts of the world, and get involved through water walks and Filter Builds® while hearing inspirational stories of people working to change the world.

Schools can fundraise or benefit from sponsorships to host a W|W Filter Build® where they become part of the global water solution.

A U.S. Water4Schols partnership can be virtual or in person with:

  • Powerful cross cultural media

  • Inspirational stories of global change makers

  • Fun and interactive challenges

  • Hands on W|W Filter Build®

  • Teacher resources

 WATER4SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL

We equip schools in East Africa, Nepal, the Dominican Republic, and the Amazon through water access, filtration and a 9-month WASH curriculum that is interactive and fun so the next generation can thrive.

Water positively impacts education for global students:

  • School attendance increases as children no longer spend their days traveling long distances to collect water.

  • Girls provided with private bathroom facilities and education to manage their monthly menstrual cycles miss fewer days of school.

  • When students drink clean water, waterborne diseases decrease and school attendance increases, giving students a chance for a better future.

SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

All around the world, many schools do not have the resources to provide proper water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) education to their students and teachers. This was the case for The School of Diversity, an educational center for children with disabilities in the Dominican Republic. The W|W team provided ceramic filters, handwashing stations, and collaborated with teachers to lead interactive activities and WASH education that was adapted for the needs of all 60 students. The technology and training at The School of Diversity will benefit students and staff for years to come.

In 2022, the W|W team will lead educational seminars monthly to provide WASH education and technology throughout the Dominican Republic.
