Massive Earthquake in Turkey + Syria
On the Ground:
The recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria have had a devastating impact on a region already fragile from years of conflict. We have a team on the ground working to provide as many people as possible access to safe drinking water. Over 33,000 people have died from the earthquake and unfortunately that number is expected to rise.
This region and the Syrian people in particular are very special to us. Our founder Doc Hendley traveled to Syria when the civil war first broke out to help over 1500 refugee families gain access to safe water. “Our goal is to return and help hundreds of thousands more in both Turkey and Syria gain access to safe water as well as other lifesaving supplies. In doing so, maybe we can also help these amazing people find a little hope and peace amidst this disaster.”
